i love home

Just browsing through more photos...I like to leave things sit so that they are new and exciting to work on - especially my own days that I just grab the camera and see what I can find interesting.  Jesse and I wandered around the farm snapping photos and this is what we got....

.easter fun.

I know some people anticipate my adventures to the farm to see what I come back with, so here's another set!  We headed out there, friends included, to do some quading/dirtbiking and feasting on mom's Easter dinner.  Dad was on another mission - this time an old car - so we cruised around, and of course, having to stop here and there for me to take photos.  It wasn't anything new to my eyes of course, but why not spend a few minute trudging through the snow and puddles to get a few cool pics, and soaking wet feet!

this is just north of our house where we spent a lot of time canoeing and building forts as kids

miss dirt devil herself Brittany...never fails that she hurts herself

.nathan.

I've had the joy to work with this little man's dad Mike for the past year so when we heard Camille his wife was pregnant I was super excited.  As her pregnancy neared the very last days to Nathan's arrival, I may or may not have been nearly as excited as them...it would be my first shoot with a newborn - which is odd I know - and for the first shoot with a little tot, it was awesome.  Thanks Mike and Camille for the wonderful evening with your new little family :)

.the dirks girls.

Once again for the millionth time, I give you yet another set of my sisters.  I suppose having these two photogenic beauties it would only be right to photograph them as much as they can stand - and they're always up for an afternoon/evening of glam...

.sweet mountain air.

So unlike the usual weekend that I spend on the mountain strapped to my board, a few weekends back I got to ride up on a sled and then board down.  We headed to McBride, BC with my mom's side of the family for their annual sled trip.  We spent two full days playing in the snow, sledding, boarding and of course, taking pictures.  My cousins, brother and I got chauffeured up the mountain all day long, rode in unbelievable untouched snow - I was in my little heaven.
